FALL 2008 OPEN RUSH INFO
Strive, Serve, and Succeed
in Engineering Brotherhood.

We are a co-ed fraternity in the city of brotherly love. We are engineers dedicated to the efficient utilization of our skills. We are citizens who act in good-will with honor and integrity. We are brothers striving to make a positive difference in the world around us. We are the University of Pennsylvania's Tau Gamma Chapter of Theta Tau Professional Engineering Fraternity.

Theta Tau is currently the University of Pennsylvania's only professional engineering fraternity. We unite engineers with a passion for their fields of study and a desire to develop both personally and professionally. Founded in 2005 and installed as a Chapter in March 2008 , our goal is to to promote a greater sense of community amongst all the engineers here at Penn by fostering a fellowship where students develop life-long bonds through social, professional, and community service activities.

As a social fraternity, our Chapter organizes many social events for both the members themselves and for the Engineering school as a whole. We have promoted dinners, competitions, excursions, and other events listed on our activities page.

As a professional organization, our Chapter aims to develop the technical, useful, and marketable skills of its members through events such as skill-building workshops, résumé reviews, research panels, career fairs, and networking with professors, corporate representatives, and recent alumni.

As an honor society and service activity, our Chapter does more than just uphold a high standard of academic integrity and achievement. However, being a leader and role model is not just about getting good grades; it is also about extending a hand to neighbors. We are heavily involved in the city of Philadelphia and in the world beyond: in addition to executing our own projects, Theta Tau includes members and leaders of local mentoring and tutoring projects, leadership workshops, and peer-counseling teams as well as established civic service initiatives including Engineers Without Borders, Model United Nations, MEChA, and others.

A growing co-ed fraternity, the Tau Gamma Chapter of Theta Tau is looking for other passionate and dedicated individuals to join its ranks. If you are interested, please check out our information on rush events and frequently asked questions.
