HW 5GROUP PROJECT

1) What projects have been done (and described in print) that seem similar
  to yours? (1 page with  references and brief descriptions).  A good place to
  look is on the web sites of the tools that you are evaluating in (2).

2) Please review a commercial software tool. Most of you will want to pick a tool
(or a couple tools) that looks most useful for the implementation stage of your final project. 
(This should be around 2 pages)

i) What specifications/features are you looking for?

ii) How good for your problem does the tool seem to be? 
    Issues you might want to include are:
   a) What particular data types and problem areas is is targeted for?
   b) How good does the user interface seem to be? 
   c) How much expertise is needed by the users?
   d) How good does the interface to your databases seem to be?
   e) How hard does the learning curve seem to be?
   f) What aspects of the tool might be problematic? E.g., can it
      handle concept hierarchies, if you need them?  
   
iii) What is the cost? (How many seats would you need?)

iv) How well does the tool fit with the culture and software environment of your
    company?
