First term was easy, although I didn't get to explore subsets of the Riemann Hypothesis problem, nor did I get to do the empirical study of the Black-Scholes deltas. But the support vector machine was alright - albeit it killed three of our hard drives...cursed SVM!

Ah, the world-famous cannolli. Pretty damn good baller, played with, and got beat by Speedy Claxton. Has worked as an usher part-time for MTV awards, etc., ushered some of the biggest stars around. Connolly lives a fulfilling life as a physical education instructor.

The first day of classes, I thought I walked into the wrong room. The instructor was tall, and he was white. Well, his Japanese wife doesn't think so, and his fluency in several other Asian languages seems to qualify him to teach any of the Asian languages at Stuy. This is one guy I'm not about to forget about anything soon.

Pretty hard class. I left a bad impression on Aukim at the beginning of the term - I was scribbling something down as she left the room to pick something pick once - and for the rest of the term, whenever I copied notes, she suspected that I was doing something else.

Apparently, that placement test during orientation mattered. Those Big SIBS lied! So apparently drawing a zigzag down the bubble sheet netted me under 50%, so they threw everybody who 'failed' into an 'Honors' level one class instead of a level three. Word.
