Class of 2016

Computer Engineering

School of Engineering and Applied Science

University of Pennsylvania

Hi, I'm Billy Clarke. I'm studying Computer Engineering at Penn. I'm in the Stage Crew of the Mask and Wig Club , Director of SPEC Sound , and Head Lighting Designer for Strictly Funk . After my freshman year, I traveled to Pajomel, Guatemala as part of the University of Pennsylvania's Engineers Without Borders Guatemala Implementation Team.

This semester, I will be TAing CIS 371: Computer Organization and Design . This is the advanced RTL hardware design class in the Computer Engineering and Computer Science curricula, and is revered as one of the most work-intensive classes in the major. By the end of the class, students will have implemented a RISC-like superscalar pipelined processor in Verilog, consistent with Penn's LC4 ISA.

I have worked at SMPL Technologies, an IT consultant focusing of financial services clients, for the past three summers. While there, I worked alongside senior engineers to configure and document client networks, and developed scripts to automate administrative tasks. I also earned my Cisco Certified Networking Associate certification, CSCO12451533.

I am looking for internships for Summer 2015, primarily in the areas of harware design and software development. I am proficient in C, Javascript, and Java, and have experience with many other languages, including Bash, Python, OCaml, VHDL, and C++. For my full resume, please click the download icon below.
