Class of 2016

Computer Engineering

School of Engineering and Applied Science

University of Pennsylvania

Hi, I'm Billy Clarke. I study Computer Engineering at Penn. This summer, I'm working at Google as a Hardware Engineering Intern.

I am the Stage Manager of the Mask and Wig Club, the nation's oldest all-male musical-comedy troupe. In that role, I lead the 10-person stage crew, managing the design and construction of huge theater sets.

I am the Treasurer of the Social Planning and Events Committee, responsible for managing a $1.2 million budget, and overseeing the planning of Spring Fling.

Next semester (Spring 2016), I will again be a TA for CIS 371: Computer Organization and Design. This is the advanced RTL hardware design class in the Computer Engineering and Computer Science curricula, and is revered as one of the most work-intensive classes in the major. By the end of the class, students will have implemented a RISC-like superscalar pipelined processor in Verilog, consistent with Penn's LC4 ISA.

I am currently seeking full time positions with a Summer 2016 start date, primarily in the areas of harware design and software development. I am proficient in SystemVerilog, Go, Java, and C, and have experience with many other languages, including Bash, Python, and Javascript. For my full resume, please click the download icon below.
