I am a master student majoring in Computer and Information Systems in the Department of Computer Science, School of Engineering and Applied Science of the University of Pennsylvania.

My study and research interests mainly are in, but not limited to, the areas of Computer Vision and Computer Graphics. Related course that have been taken and that are to be taken include Computer Vision and Computational Photography, Computer Perception, Computer Graphics and Biomedical Image Analysis etc. Currently, I worked as a part time C++ programmer in the Penn Image Computing and Science Lab for the development of ANTS/ITK (Advanced Normalization Tools/Insight Toolkit) development. An brief introduction of my job can be found in the page of My Projects, where several other projects are also listed. I am also interested in networks and databases. Quite a few of my previous interns and part time jobs are website development.

I am an experienced C/C++ programmer. I began to study C in year 1997 and then C++ one year later. Long time practice has whetted my coding skills and enriched my trouble shooting experience very well. Recently I began to compile the notes and tips I collected into several documents. They can be find in the page of Resources. Furthermore, I can also program in Java, Matlab, php, assembler language (both ARM and x86/64), Bash, and Csh etc.

Besides computer science and programming technology, I also have expertise in area of economics, econometrics and operations research. Related degrees include M.A in Economics from the University of Oklahoma at Norman and M.S. in Business Administration from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
