Ultimate Frisbee:

Since 2003 I have spent most of my free time training for and playing Ultimate Frisbee. While at Dartmouth I competed in the Collegiate Series with the Dartmouth Pain Train including an appearance at the College Championship Tournament. I also competed in the Club Series with Chuckwagon and Ride Tide.

During the 2010 season I played for Philly AMP. We were the Midatlantic Regional Champions and we competed at the Club Championships in Sarasota, FL, finally placing 12th in the nation.

In 2011, I returned to the Open (Men's) Division, captaining the Boston Based team Garuda. Garuda finished their season with only 3 losses, 2 of which were to the National runner-up, Ironside. In 2012, I competed with the Baltimore based team Medicine Men.

I actively participate in Philadelphia Area Disc Alliance (PADA) leagues, work to help develop the growing sport of ultimate frisbee as well as volunteer with outreach programs which use ultimate as a medium.

Hiking, Climbing and Backpacking:

When time permits, I like to get out of the city and enjoy the great outdoors. Whenever I travel to an area with mountains I make sure to get some hiking in. Within the year my fiance and I have gone hiking in Arizona, Hawaii and Thailand.
