I grew up in Athens, Greece and received my degree in Mechanical Engineering in November 2002 from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) under the supervision of professor Kostas J. Kyriakopoulos. Since September 2003 I am a Ph.D. student at the Electrical and Systems Engineering Department at the University of Pennsylvania, under the supervision of professor George J. Pappas, and a member of the GRASP Laboratory, University of Pennsylvania.

My main research area involves modeling and control of networked dynamical systems, with applications in distributed target assignment and formation control as well as in distributed topology and connectivity control, of dynamic sensor or mobile robotic networks. I am particularly interested in hybrid solution techniques, on the interface of control theory with the discrete science of networks and graphs. Recently, I have also been working on modeling and identification of biomolecular networks.
