I received the Diploma in mechanical engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), Athens, Greece, in 2002, under the supervision of professor Kostas J. Kyriakopoulos, and the M.S.E. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical and systems engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA, in 2005 and 2008, respectively, under the supervision of professor George J. Pappas. Currently, I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Electrical and Systems Engineering, University of Pennsylvania, and a member of the GRASP Laboratory, University of Pennsylvania.

My main research interests involve modeling and control of networked dynamical systems, with applications in distributed target assignment and formation control as well as in distributed topology and connectivity control, of dynamic sensor or mobile robotic networks. I am particularly interested in hybrid solution techniques, on the interface of control theory with the discrete science of networks and graphs. Recently, I have also been working on modeling and identification of biomolecular networks.
