Research Expertise: computer science education, learning technologies and learning analytics

I am an Assistant Professor of Practice in the Department of Computer and Information Science. I teach a wide variety of introductory and advanced computer science courses. My research interests include computer science education, learning technologies and learning analytics. I earned my doctorate in computer science at Virginia Tech, and my master’s and bachelor’s in computer science at University of Picardie Jules Verne in France. I am member of the ACM Special Interest Group on Computer Science Education (SIGCSE), and the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE).
