Research Interests
I was trained in and teach decision science, operations research, artificial intelligence, and systems science & engineering. My own research has largely been on designing, building, evaluating, and fielding socio-cognitive agent models that can help humans improve their learning, performance, and systems thinking in simulated worlds. These simulated worlds reflect aspects of the real world and thereby help users to analyze policies that might improve system performance. Research projects have included:
