Combining two projects together, I created this classy music box. It plays music wirelessly while spinning the ball and strobing LEDs. The LED strobe rate is both adjustable in frequency by a nob and in brightness by a bank of switches. The volume of the speaker is adjustable by a slider. This project is built around the MAEVARM M2 and uses ADC conversion, PWM, 8-bit DAC with a resistor ladder, and GPIO. The wireless communication is handled by the MAEVARM mRF module and associated libraries. The enclosure is cherry and MDF finished with danish oil.
