CV (August 2020)

Nofel Yaseen

I am fourth-year PhD student at the University of Pennsylvania (Upenn). At Upenn, my advisor is Dr. Vincent Liu. I am currently colloborating with Ryan Beckett. I am also a Facebook Fellow 2020. Before joining Upenn, I completed my Bachelor degree in Computer Science from the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), Pakistan, where I worked with Dr. Ihsan Ayyub Qazi, Dr. Zartash Uzmi and Dr. Fareed Zaffar. My research interests are in the broad areas of distributed systems and networking but include a number of related topics. My recent work aims to design a fine-grained network measurement tool and how we can use these measurements to understand the network traffic patterns.

Past Collaborators: Behnaz Arzani, Minlan Yu
