CIS 650 Presentations

In this course, all students will be expected to make a presentation and lead the discussion of a chosen topic. The ability to present and communicate is absolutely vital not only in the research world, but in the business world as well. Thus we will make use of this class as a forum for practicing presentations.

You will receive assistance in putting together your presentation. After you read your paper or papers, I will meet with you individually to discuss the main points of the paper and any necessary background material. If you send me your slides 24 hours in advance of the presentation, I will review them and provide suggestions. Once you have finished your presentation, I will offer comments in private or via e-mail.
