The Department of Bioengineering offers degrees in both undergraduate and graduate levels:

  • The Bioengineering Undergraduate Program offers both the Bachelor of Science in Engineering B.S.E. degree and Bachelor of Applied Science B.A.S. degree. The flexibility of the program provides an excellent background for careers from medicine to industry or other fields related to biomedical technology. Admission information and an application package can be obtained directly from the University.

Bioengineering PHD Program

The Bioengineering Ph.D. Program is designed to train individuals for academic, government, or industrial careers in which research is a fundamental and pervasive activity. Admission information to the graduate program is available online.

Bioengineering MSE Program

The MSE Program in Bioengineering is a designed for students who wish to obtain a more solid foundation of the principles of Bioengineering and further prepare themselves for careers in industry, research and development, government and academia.  The program requires 10course units and allows students to choose a thesis or non-thesis option.

All applicants to the Bioengineering MSE program must apply online!
