How to Use the Scanner

M70 Towne Scanner Station

HP Scanjet 6300C Instructions

  • Lift flap and place what you want scanned on the glass. (DO NOT TOUCH GLASS WITH YOUR FINGERS)

  • Lower the flap, then push the button that is on the front of the scanner to the far left, the one with the picture of a scanner.

  • The HP PrecisionPro Software will load and then you can follow the direction s in the HP Scan Coach or you can just go to the START menu and select the sofware there.

IF THE SCANNER IS NOT RECOGNIZED BY THE COMPUTER, REBOOT THE COMPUTER.

To borrow the slide adapter for scanning slides come to the CETS Office, 164 Moore. Valid PennID required.
