Christos Davatzikos
Professor of Radiology and
Electrical and Systems Engineering (ESE)
Research Expertise: Medical Imaging and Imaging Instrumentation | Imaging Theory and Analysis | Theoretical and Computational Bioengineering
As Director of the Section of Biomedical Image Analysis, Christos is interested in many areas related to medical image analysis and computing, including image segmentation and registration, multiparametric image analysis, as well as the use of machine learning and pattern recognition in medical imaging. His group is affiliated with many clinical studies employing imaging as a biomarker of diseases such as Alzheimer's, schizophrenia, diabetes, and cancer.
