GRASP Laboratory Receives IEEE Corporate Innovation Award

Penn Engineering's General Robotics, Automation, Sensing and Perception (GRASP) Laboratory has received the 2011 IEEE Corporate Innovation award.

The award was presented on Saturday, April 9 at the IEEE Philadelphia Section Awards Banquet and Gala at the Union League of Philadelphia. The program included remarks by the 2011 IEEE President and CEO Moshe Kam, Ph.D., P.E., who is also the department head and Robert Quinn Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Drexel University.

The Corporate Innovation Award recognizes a company or corporation for its outstanding contribution to electrotechnology and emphasizes developments, projects, products, and other accomplishments that have been innovative and successful.
