Welcome Class of 2017!

Congratulations on being admitted to the School of Engineering and Applied Science Class of 2017!  Our faculty, students and staff offer you our very best wishes and our hope that we will see you on campus in September.

You are about to make the very important decision of choosing which university to attend.  Like you and your parents, we take your decision very seriously. The quality of your education is our highest priority. We are tremendously proud of the reputation Penn Engineering has earned in attracting and retaining world-class faculty, developing nationally-ranked programs, and providing the individual attention characteristic of a small school of excellent quality.  In the classroom and in the laboratory, our students work with renowned professors who engage them in cutting-edge research. Our inspiring and caring teachers will do everything possible to ensure that coming to Penn will be one of the best lifetime decisions you will ever make.

Eduardo Glandt, Dean, Penn Engineering

I hope that you will take advantage of the opportunity to come to campus during Penn Previews, April 5 (early decision admits only), 8, 15, 22 and 23, so that you and your family can meet and speak with our faculty and students as you consider your acceptance decision. We're here to help answer your questions and concerns. Please contact Ms. Ellen Eckert, Associate Director of Admissions and Advising, at eckertel@seas.upenn.edu or 215-898-4813 if we can be of assistance.
