I have a younger brother Milad who is studying mechanical engineering at Tehran University at the moment. My dad is a Professor at Tehran University and my mum is a High school chemistry teacher. If you are interested, she will be presenting a paper in BCCE on July, 30th at Penn State University on Issues on Teaching and Learning in the Chemistry Laboratory. Most of my family like my uncles Ahmad Arzani, Nasser Arzani and Kazem Arzani are in academia. So you can imagine how it was growing up right? Nah! I’‘m kidding, the only problem is that now all us kids are in academia as well. Don’‘t believe me? Meet my cousins: Ali Arzani, Amir Arzani.
History: I have started to take courses in history as a hobby. One such course is offered in Coursera “The French Revolution” by Peter Macphee of the University of Melbourne. The other I am auditing next semester is HIST 083 Diplomacy in the Middle East at Penn’’s History department.

I like to write: When I was in high school I wrote a novel, you can download it here. The title is “Where Dreams Never End” and its about a girl who is very much in love with Anne Shirley, and finds out that somehow she is managing to screw up her life trying to be like her.
