The Imperial College Department of Computing is advertising three
teaching positions in all research areas.  The Department has a strong
tradition in research in Programming Languages and Types; the
Programming Language Theory group currently comprises Stefan van
Bakel, Sophia Drossopoulou, Susan Eisenbach, Philippa Gardner, Chris
Hankin, Michael Huth, Iain Philipps, Igor Siveroni, Mike Smyth,
Herbert Wicklickly and Nobuko Yoshida.

Applications are invited for lectureships in the Department of Computing 
at Imperial College, South Kensington Campus, London. Further

The Department of Computing has an established international research 
and teaching reputation and was awarded a 5* rating in the 2002 Research 
Assessment Exercise. The Department is now seeking to consolidate and 
expand its research and teaching activities by making up to 3 strategic 
appointments, one of which may be a Senior Lecturer/Readership position.

These appointments are intended to strengthen existing groups or 
establish new research areas.

The successful applicants should already be of international standing in 
their research area and will be expected to provide research leadership. 
All will be expected to play a full part in the teaching and 
administrative activities of the Department.
