Shirin Saeedi Bidokhti is a research assistant professor in the Department of Electrical and Systems Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania (UPenn). She received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer and Communication Sciences from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL). Before joining UPenn in 2017, she was a postdoctoral fellow with the Institute for Communications Engineering at the Technical University of Munich, a postdoctoral fellow with the Department of Electrical Engineering at Stanford University, and a visiting postdoctoral scholar with the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Pennsylvania State University. She has been awarded an Advanced Postdoc Mobility Fellowship and a Prospective Researcher Fellowship both from the Swiss National Science Foundation.
