LeAnn is a Practice Associate Professor in the Department of Bioengineering and teaches courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels primarily focused in biomechanics and biomaterials. Her research interests are in the scholarship of teaching and learning in engineering education. Specific areas of interest include structure, active, in-class learning (SAIL) and understanding how to best support diversity and foster a sense of inclusivity in the classroom and SEAS.
