Looking toward the wall from the GI statue, we can see a large tour group (they were speaking French) making their way down toward the center of the wall. In the distance, trees fill the skyline so that you cannot see the big Washington buildings just a block or so away, while in the foreground, migrating flocks of ducks and geese forage for grubs in the grass.
