``Forms of Containment and Inheritance in Object-oriented Systems''
Kenneth Baclawski, Northeastern U.
Thursday, March 15, 3:00 pm
107 Cullinane Hall, Northeastern U.

A large variety of different concepts have been introduced to express
the notion of inheritence. Single inheritance, multiple inheritance,
multiple independent inheritance, prototype inheritance and private
inheritance are all examples of concepts that use the word
``inheritance'' and the intuition associated with this idea. In this
talk, we give a single framework for inheritance and containments
within which these forms of inheritance can be expressed.
