Professor Shu Yang elected 2024 AAAS Fellow

Six faculty researchers at Penn including Dr. Shu Yang of Penn Engineering have been elected 2024 American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) Fellows.

Yang is the Joseph Bordogna Professor of Engineering and Applied Science in the Department of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering and chair of the Department of Materials Science & Engineering in the School of Engineering and Applied Science.

Yang is being recognized by the AAAS for contributions to soft materials, particularly for developing novel approaches to the synthesis and assembly of multi-functional soft composite materials.
